Aussies want companies to reveal data use

(Australian Associated Press)

Most Australians are concerned about how well organisations managed and protect privacy and what personal information can be accessed, a new report has revealed.

EY’s 2017 Digital Australia, State of the Nation Report has found 81 per cent of Australians believe organisations should be more open about how they use customer data.

But 51 per cent of the 1551 people surveyed said they want companies to tailor the content they offer them to reflect their interests.
